Department of Dental Technology and Materials Science
The objectives of the department are to cultivate professionals for designing and manufacturing dental prosthetics, and research and development in dental materials as well. Our goal is to integrate art and science into theoretical and practical experiences. The mandate of our dental laboratory technology and materials science program is to educate and train students towards expertise in dental technology. Our program also focuses on secondary professional skills in biomaterials and administrative management to increase the opportunities for students to obtain employment in the future after their internship and obtaining the professional license.
The program is focused on the theories as well as practical skills of dental technology and training students to have:
1. Technical skills for manufacturing crowns & bridges, full dentures, partial removable dentures and orthodontic devices.
2. A familiarity with the basic sciences in dental technology.
3. The ability to service dental devices.

Graduate Institute of Dental Technology and Materials Science
In response to the rapid growth in dentistry and dental materials as well as the development of dental technology, we’re dedicated to combine the resources for dental technology and materials to improve professional and technical quality on research development. Through industry-university cooperation programs and research projects trainings. Students are well-equipped with updated professional academic knowledge along with practical experiments and practicum.
The program is mainly focused on the study of theories concerning dental technology and the cultivation of the following abilities:
1. Creation in the field of dental technology.
2. Research and development for dental materials and dental devices.
